This project empowers young women by equipping them with skills in climate justice and sustainable policy-making, fostering their active participation in decision-making processes through innovative training, digital tools and strategic engagement with policymakers.

Progress

  • The “Climate Collective (İklim Kolektifi)” Adigital community was established
  • Online Climate Education Programme for more than 150 participants, covering ecofeminism, sustainability and climate policy-making
  • A free online MOOC based curriculum made available
  • Development of AI-supported gamified climate-crisis simulation
  • More than 18,000 impressions and high engagement rates across social media platforms.

Highlights

Integrating eco-feminist perspectives with technology-driven education has deepened participants’ understanding of the links between gender and climate justice, encouraging them to take meaningful action. The development of gamified simulations showed that experiential learning can effectively bridge abstract policy concepts with real-world problem-solving, helping young women navigate the complexities of climate governance and decision-making under pressure.

“Every time we open up an online workshop and we get so many more than expected.  People care! That motivates us”

“Climate change is slow. But when we gamify and simulate the changes, it makes it tangible.”
