Bring STEM to life with the British Council and Formula 1!

Through the Learning Sectors programme, a British Council programme supported by Formula 1, you can match your school with a partner school in Spain or India and work together on a STEM challenge.

Discover the wide range of jobs in STEM and find out how STEM roles make a difference to our lives.  Then identify an issue in your community and work with your partner school to come up with a solution, using STEM skills to tackle a real-world challenge and make a positive change.

  • Engage your learners through using STEM skills for practical challenges
  • Broaden their horizons through working with a school in another country
  • Inspire students with real examples of STEM in action from Formula 1

An exciting new oracy component is being added to the programme this year which is designed to strengthen young people’s presentation and communication skills through engaging, media-inspired learning and activities focused on broadcasting and media, including inspiration from careers connected to Formula 1.
