Progress
- Secured partner conversion center to lead and host the technical trainings.
- Approval to support the Presidential Initiative on CNG (Pi-CNG).
- Stakeholder engagement session to ensure alignment and buy-in.
- Delivered a week of training for 100 marginalised youth and women on CNG auto-conversion.
Highlights
We are now positioned within broader national priorities including green jobs and the Labour Employment and Empowerment Program (LEEP). This demonstrates the project is not a stand-alone effort but part of a larger institutional drive. We are also following up rigorously on the employment and apprenticeship pathways, so as many participants as possible are absorbed into real future opportunities.
“For us, if you bring change, it must impact directly on the pockets of the people you want to bring the change to.”
“The biggest insight is that making a difference requires building strong partnerships;
when government, private sector, and local associations align, the chances of scale and
sustainability increase significantly”
