The British Council is seeking a consultant or organisation to conduct research which will provide TVET policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders with actionable recommendations on how to effectively adapt TVET systems to the digital transition. It will focus on how systems are able to respond and adapt to the rapid development of new technologies and skills needs (both core and technical), the barriers systems and providers face in developing these skills and how opportunities for the integration of digital technologies into TVET pedagogy are identified and deployed.
Expertise Required
The researcher/research team should possess the following expertise:
- Expertise in the digital transition (how digital technologies, AI and automation are shaping the world of work and learning) and TVET systems.
- Experience in conducting education research applying mixed-method methodologies.
- Ability to analyse information to provide policy and implementation recommendations.
- Ability to write in an engaging manner, using clear and concise language.
