The UK-based skills organisation will partner with Mauritius Institute of Technology and Development, with the support of Mauritius Circular Economy Steering Group members as a key project stakeholders.  Partners will share expertise in embedding circular economy teaching in TVET courses, with a specific focus on the mobility and logistics sector.

The British Council teams in the UK and in Mauritius will provide ongoing advice and guidance throughout the partnership to help facilitate communication and deliver maximum benefit.

The project will run for a duration of 12 months from the end of March 2026.

The call for proposals is part of the British Council’s Going Global Partnerships programme which builds stronger, more inclusive, internationally connected higher education and TVET systems by supporting partnerships between universities, colleges, education policy makers, civil society organisations and industry partners around the world.
