  Aatreyee Guha Thakurta leads on the British Council’s education work in mobility and internationalisation across India and South Asia, working closely with the UK education sector and sector bodies, local governments, students and influencers and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.   The UK India Business Council is the premiere bilateral trade body convening Government, Business and Academia. For over a decade, Jon has supported UK universities in India, championing an integrated approach to India relations, helping develop industry partnerships. At present, he and the UKIBC are working with multiple UK universities in the creation of employment pathways for returning Indian students. Furthermore, he is passionate about the Government of India's Skills India initiative. To turn this policy into practice, UKIBC are collaborating with industry to develop and skills and talent forum designed to address the fast-evolving needs for the future workforce.
