We are pleased to announce the launch of the Regional Focus Careers Series this year, delivered in partnership with GradLink, the award-winning careers site for international students and graduates.

The Regional Focus  Careers Seriese provides UK-educated international students and graduates with in-depth insights into some of the most popular graduate job destinations globally,  covering aspects such as employer expectations, growth sectors and the skills most in demand, and effective strategies for building a successful international career.

The sessions will include input from regional experts in academia, employers and successful alumni.

Senior Advisor for Skilled Labour Immigration, German Economic Institute (IW)

Jeannette specialises in skilled labour immigration and Germany's skilled immigration framework. She works on Make it in Germany, the German Government's official portal for qualified professionals interested in working in Germany. She will share insights into the German labour market, areas of skills demand and practical considerations for international professionals looking to work in Germany.

Dr Toyin Omojola
Researcher, Technische Universität Berlin

Dr Toyin Omojola is an alumnus of the Universities of Birmingham, Cambridge and Bath. Following his studies in the UK, he established a career in Germany across academia and industry, with a focus on energy and chemical engineering. He will reflect on his career journey and share practical insights for international graduates interested in developing their careers in Germany.
