Rawan Taha

The Girl From LinkedIn is an AI-powered career coaching platform and interactive workbook that supports unemployed and underemployed graduates in navigating the global job market with clarity and confidence. Founded by Rawan Taha, British Council SDG 8 Ambassador, the initiative grew out of her youth employment advocacy on LinkedIn and expands access to practical, high-quality career guidance through technology and structured self-coaching.

Building on this work, Rawan has shared hundreds of verified job opportunities, become a certified career coach, served on Youth Advisory Boards, and contributed to global employability dialogue. She was part of the Going Global Conference planning team in Nigeria (2024) and a speaker at Going Global London (2025). In Egypt, she delivered 4 career development sessions with the British Council, reaching nearly 500 youth and job seekers on UN careers, CV writing, AI-powered job search, and career identity development.

Rawan's SDG project combines an AI-powered career coach with a DIY career workbook, now complete with 40 practical exercise sheets that help users independently navigate career decisions. Key achievements include a completed Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and strengthened partnerships with the British Council and alumni networks, with sustainability supported through skill transfer, responsible AI use, and a scalable future funding model.

"Building The Girl from LinkedIn allowed me to combine AI, career coaching, and youth engagement to support hundreds of job seekers, while strengthening my leadership, facilitation, and digital employability skills. This dream was made possible by the British Council, with the full launch scheduled for May 2026." - Rawan Taha
