Guides

You may need to refer to the latest applicable application guidance document  (April 2018).

Forms

  • Re-purpose funding request form: In some cases we can approve the repurpose of funding. Please note: we cannot approve the repurpose of funds that have not been already paid but only the repurpose of funds that have already been paid and remain unspent. Please fill in the re-purpose funding request form and return it to UK-InstitutionalLinks@britishcouncil.org. We cannot guarantee that it will be approved.
  • Extension request form: In some cases we can approve extension of project end dates. If the proposed extension pushes the final grant payment into the next financial year this will make approval less likely as we are unable to move country funds from one financial year to the next. Our financial year runs from 1 April to 31 March. If you would like to request an extension, please fill in an Institutional Links project extension request form and return it to UK-InstitutionalLinks@britishcouncil.org. We cannot guarantee that requests will be approved.
  • Appeals form: If you would like to appeal a grant eligibility decision made by the British Council, please complete this form and send it to UK-InstitutionalLinks@britishcouncil.org

Reporting

You are required to submit a narrative report and a financial report every six months.

The narrative report is submitted through researchfish.

You can download the financial form template here. We have produced this guide to help you report. Please be aware that the reporting rules will apply from the application round that you were successful under. Please refer to the correct application guidance document above.
