Tamera Ankrah is based in the UK Stratford office, where she is completing an apprenticeship with the English Language Research (ELR) team. A Lancaster University alumna, she holds an LLB in Law, receiving the Certificate of Outstanding Academic Achievement in her first year. She has an MSc in Public Affairs from the University of Gold Coast and is currently pursuing an MA in Language Testing with Lancaster University.
Tamera’s background spans public affairs, where she became a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) while working with Hammersmith and Fulham Council, and business development with a global charity, supporting small scale entrepreneurs across Sub-Saharan Africa. Her research interests include pretesting and piloting, AI in speaking assessments and EDI in test design. In her free time, she enjoys voice acting, with projects for Holland & Barrett, the NHS, King’s College Hospital UK and Iceland.
