We are proud to share that the ELRI AI research team recently presented the results of the BEA 2026 Shared Task on Vocabulary Difficulty Prediction at BEA 2026 in San Diego. With participation from over 20 international research teams, the competition organised by the British Council set new state-of-the-art benchmarks in predicting vocabulary difficulty for English learners of different language backgrounds, providing vital insights for personalised learning tools and adaptive testing.
