The Curriculum Comparison Project (CCP), part of the Future of English research programme, has successfully concluded a three-part webinar series exploring recent English language curriculum reforms in China, South Korea, and Japan.
Delivered in collaboration with English and School Education colleagues across East Asia and leading country experts, the series shared emerging research findings and encouraged dialogue on curriculum change and English language education.
The webinars attracted a wide-ranging global audience, including teachers, academics, students, assessment specialists and curriculum designers, co-ordinators and managers. In total, the series reached 241 attendees on Zoom, 3,361 viewers on WeChat and 12,865 viewers via Facebook Live.
The discussions generated a wealth of thoughtful questions from participants. To continue the conversation, the project team has published a new Q&A page addressing the key themes and questions raised throughout the series.
