Once you have chosen an appropriate International School Award level and checked the requirements, you can begin your application.
Foundation and Intermediate Level
Applications are open all year.
Accreditation and Reaccreditation Level
The application process is made up of two sections, the Action Plan and the Impact Evaluation, both of which need to be submitted in order to receive the International School Award.
Action plan
The action plan describes the activities you intend to undertake as part of your application for the award. You will receive feedback on the plan within six weeks of the submission deadline.
Action Plan deadline for feedback:
The submission deadline to receive your Action Plan feedback for the 2025-2026 academic year is 30 November 2025.
You will still need to complete and submit the Action Plan, before access to the Impact Evaluation will be given. You will then have to submit the Impact Evaluation at the end of the school year, by one of the below deadlines, in order to receive the International School Award.
Impact Evaluation
At the end of the school year, schools applying for Accreditation/Reaccreditation must submit an Impact Evaluation.
You must demonstrate the impact of the activities on learners, teachers and the community.
Impact evaluation deadlines:
The deadlines for 2025-2026 school year are 14 June 2026 or 12 July 2026.
