The shape of global higher education considers the policy environment in a total of 38 countries and the extent to which national systems support international collaboration in higher education.

Volume 2 introduces 12 new countries to the study and a has developed a way of considering the measures from the perspective of a HE institution – student mobility; research and researcher mobility; programme and provider mobility (ie TNE).
