Building on the foundation of the fuller Next Generation research series, the British Council is introducing Next Generation Pulse, a new, lighter-touch iteration of the programme. Pulse is designed to complement the full Next Generation studies by offering a more agile and cost-effective approach to capturing timely insights on youth attitudes and experiences. Bangladesh has been selected as the first pilot for Next Generation Pulse.
The study should produce focused, actionable insights while contributing to the evolution of the wider Next Generation portfolio. In particular, it should provide a clear comparative reading against the 2024 full Next Generation Bangladesh study.
This research should present a snapshot of key themes of interest:
- Youth lifestyles and attitudes
- Youth voice (political and civic)
- Education, skills and employment
We are also particularly interested in the crisis of youth unemployment and education quality and relevance in Bangladesh.
