The purpose of this paper is to explore research on whether there are links between the sort (rather than the amount) of education that young men and women receive, and their susceptibility to radicalisation. It raises the question of whether a purposeful and focussed approach to education reform in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, might yield powerful results.
