A young professional conversing with colleagues.

Masterclasses provide an opportunity for a deeper exploration of key issues facing tertiary Education. Attendees should leave the session with an in-depth topic knowledge and an action plan to tackle the unique challenges and issues facing their institution.

We are seeking innovative, globally relevant ideas and proposals for session content from key sector bodies to help facilitate the sharing of knowledge and insights for a global audience. We welcome challenging perspectives and are especially interested to hear from thought leaders anticipating and driving future agendas.

Successful proposals will engage with the conference theme“Resilience, Values, Innovation: Surviving and Thriving in a Volatile World” which will be explored through three sub-themes that reflect the essential qualities we will need to emerge from the current crisis intact, and to thrive in the future.

Further Information:

We welcome applications from relevant sector agencies or member organisations, not individual tertiary education providers. Masterclasses can be led by individuals from specific organisation as part of the network body for the sector, not for their specific employer.

Given the limited capacity at Going Global, masterclass providers will be offered complimentary tickets for colleagues to deliver the masterclasses, in addition to any formal invites to their organisation.

It is currently expected that all masterclasses will take place before the core conference activity starts on Tuesday 28 October – this is subject to change.

There will be a separate charge to delegates who wish to attend the masterclasses. This will be for £60 for OECD delegates and £75 for non-OECD delegates. This is to help cover the running costs for the event and to help ensure quality is embedded into the delivery and to try to better ensure an engaged and committed audience.
