Ritu Kapur is the co-founder and CEO of The Quint and a Board Member at Oxford University’s prestigious Reuters Institute Of Journalism as well as World Editor's Forum. She used to head Programming at History Channel, was Features Editor at CNN IBN, where she launched the popular CJ (Citizen Journalist) Show, among others. Ritu Kapur has been recognized by Outlook Business as "Woman of Worth 2017 - The Newsmaker".

Professor of Journalism, Bournemouth University

Stephen is Professor of Journalism in the School of Journalism, English & Communication at Bournemouth University. He previously worked as a foreign correspondent and editor for Reuters . 

His research focuses on objectivity and emotion in news with an emphasis on affect, trauma and conflict journalism. He works with the Salzburg Academy on Media and Global Change, chairs the Dart Centre for Journalism & Trauma in Europe and is a trustee of the Institute for War & Peace Reporting.

Nick Wrenn

Head of News Partnerships, EMEA, Facebook

Nick began his career as a regional newspaper reporter in England. He was one of the launch team for the BBC’s news website before moving to CNN where he spent 14 years in both London and Atlanta, managing news teams across television and digital services.

He joined Facebook in December 2014 and leads the News Partnerships team, which collaborates with newsrooms and journalists, helping them reach new audiences on Facebook and Instagram.
