Together with the Higher Education Commission we are organising these three roundtable sessions to present the Pakistan-UK Education Gateway programme.
The roundtables will introduce UK HE Sector expertise to key decision makers from Pakistan to explore possible collaborations around quality of teaching and research for Higher Education Institutions in Pakistan.
From knowledge exchange and leadership development programmes to student and teacher training, scholarships and research collaborations, the UK Education Sector has a proud legacy of working with the British Council and the Higher Education Commission in Pakistan to advance the Higher Education Sector in Pakistan.
The Pakistan-UK Education Gateway marks a new era in the relationship between our two countries around cultural relations. Building upon the 70-year strong history of collaboration with UK Higher Education Institutions the Pakistan-UK Education Gateway is designed to create a comprehensive, collaborative and strategic partnership between the Pakistani and UK Higher Education Sectors to promote mutually beneficial cutting-edge research, teaching excellence and faculty development.From knowledge exchange and leadership development programmes to student and teacher training, scholarships and research collaborations, the UK Education Sector has a proud legacy of working with the British Council and the Higher Education Commission in Pakistan to advance the Higher Education Sector in Pakistan.
Following these roundtables in the UK, we look forward to inviting interested parties, academics, Vice Chancellors and policy makers to the formal launch of the project in Pakistan in November 2018.
