The British Council is seeking a supplier to investigate the benefits and value brought to partner countries and to the UK from an international cultural relations approach to working with schools.
The British Council Schools team has a long history of working with schools and young people in both the UK and globally to improve their international outlook and help deliver quality education.
Study objectives
The aim of this project is to build on the knowledge from a 2022 Cultural Relations and Schools report, and to build an evidence base of the value to partner countries and to the UK of working internationally and through cultural relations with schools.
Such evidence would help to articulate the value (in terms of influence, trust, long term relationships and ‘soft power’) of British Council activities in schools.
Furthermore, the outputs from this exercise will help to articulate why the British Council is uniquely well placed to do this work on behalf of the UK (and should continue to be supported to do this), crucially with evidence to back up our claims.
