About
This report offers a comparative statistical analysis across all 29 Indian states in order to increase understanding of the higher education sector in India at state level. A deeper analysis of five key states and the key institutions within them is also undertaken in order to demonstrate the opportunities for international collaboration in these states, based on interviews, surveys and available data on state policies and individual institutions.
The report provides an updated insight on the Indian education system, and its challenges, in respect to a new Indian government. An overview of international competitor activity at the state level is also provided, with a description of the various statutory bodies and university types in India.
