IMA is our flagship museum skills programme, which was set up in 2016 to respond to the global demand for professional development in museum management skills. After the first edition of Audience Engagement in partnership with National Museums Liverpool in August 2016, contemporary museums in Taiwan expressed a desire to take part

In a bid to share knowledge and increase skills in museum management in Taiwan, we devised a programme taking place between 9th and 11th of November 2017, consisting of a conference on audience engagement with 100 – 150 delegates on 9th of November, visits to museums and galleries in Taiwan on 10th of November, and a professional development workshop at KMFA on 11th of November.

The IMA Taiwan pilot programme ran in partnership with Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts (KMFA) to facilitate the building of new relationships in museum and contemporary arts between the UK and Taiwan, encourage the exchange of new ways of thinking and working for audience engagement, and create an active network of museum professionals for future collaborations between Taiwan and UK.

Why not check out IMA Greece and the fantastic toolkits we developed to help museum professionals with all matters of audience engagement, exhibitions, finance, and project management. Don't miss them, they're right at the bottom of the page.
