1. The Competition
The Global Young Learner Art competition (the “Competition”) is organised annually by the British Council for students up to the age of fifteen, studying at a British Council Teaching Centre. Please note, that the deadline for submitting pictures may vary from one British Council Teaching Centre to another. It is the responsibility of the student, or the student’s parent/guardian, to confirm entry deadlines at their local British Council Teaching Centre.
Pictures will initially be reviewed at the local British Council Teaching Centre and one picture will be selected in each of three age groups: age 8 and under; age 9 to 11; and age 12 to 15 years. The competition co-ordinator will forward a maximum of three pictures, and no more than one per age group, to the UK to be entered the Competition.

Only one entry per person is allowed.
Each entry must be accompanied by a completed and signed consent form which is available from the local British Council Teaching Centre.
Entry to the Competition is free of charge. Please note that students are responsible for any costs incurred in creating and submitting the original picture (e.g. art materials, etc.).
