This workshop will present updates on transnational education in China in 2019. Experienced practitioners will cover key developments relating to policy, tax and legal issues in China’s TNE landscape. 

The workshop is an opportunity for institutions with planned or current transnational educational partnerships in China to gain up to date information on the current TNE landscape, to receive expert, tailored advice in a dedicated session to address your specific TNE needs, and to receive the latest information on UK-China TNE from sector professionals.

Speakers will include:

  • Senior experts from the expert panel of Ministry of Education to interpret latest TNE policy developments and key legal issues involving in TNE applications and operations
  • Professional service advisors to share the latest tax and legal status of TNE in China
  • Academics to share their experience of opportunities and challenges related to TNE in China

The workshop will be chaired by Jazreel Goh, Director Education, British Council China and will be followed by a networking lunch reception. And The workshop is free to participate in and is open to practitioners interested or engaged in TNE partnership development work in China.

The workshop is free to participate in and is open to UK education institutions interested, planned or engaged in TNE partnership development and deliveries in China.
