To prepare our children for an increasingly international and interdependent world, the international dimension in education has never been more important.

Learning to speak a foreign language, to understand and appreciate other cultures, and to work towards shared goals with counterparts from very different backgrounds are now widely recognised as key components of a well-rounded education.

We offer a range of programmes that enable teaching staff alike to meet with their counterparts from overseas and work together on issues on mutual interest. Whether it is co-ordinating an international project between your school and a partner school abroad, or taking part in one of our exciting Continuing Professional Development opportunities overseas, teachers have commented on the gains they have made in terms of self-confidence, motivation, linguistic upskilling and appreciation of another culture and educational context. By having the opportunity to observe at first hand good educational practice elsewhere and share their own ideas, UK teachers not only further their own professional development but in  turn contribute to the raising of standards and school development.
