eTwinning UK workshop 2007

The second eTwinning professional development workshop of 2007 took place on October 26th – 28th at the NCSL Conference Centre, Nottingham, UK.

We welcomed eighty delegates from Local Authorities throughout Europe, all of whom are responsible for the promotion of international school collaboration and the use of ICT in education in their respective countries.

The aim of the workshop was to ensure that participants were able to learn by doing the importance of audience and how ICT tools can help foster and enhance creative and collaborative, intercultural working.

The participants spent the weekend working in the following three groups and produced a presentation for plenary on the last day of the event:

Podcasting and Social Networking led by Ewan McIntosh
Creativity through Digital Images led Baldev Singh
Animation for Education led by Oscar Stringer
