Whether you’re new to eTwinning or already involved in a project, you can attend a free online or face-to-face training session to get the most out of the eTwinning portal.

Workshops

Face-to-face sessions with an experienced eTwinning teacher, who will give you a hands-on introduction to eTwinning, advice on how to incorporate it into your classroom projects and the best hints and tips. Workshops are either morning, afternoon, twilight or full-day sessions.

Webinars

Live online training sessions with the British Council eTwinning team and experienced eTwinning teachers. Join directly from your home or school computer. All webinars are twilight sessions and last for just one hour. Sessions are available to take you through the most important steps of your eTwinning journey, from finding partners to starting projects and using your Twinspace.

Step one: Finding your eTwinning partner

Find out all you need to know to get started on your eTwinning journey. This session gives you the top tips for finding eTwinning partners for your future projects. You’ll also get a ‘walkthrough’ of the eTwinning portal and find out the best ways to become active in the eTwinning community.

Step two: Starting your eTwinning project

Now you’ve found an eTwinning partner, you are ready to start a joint project. This session shows you what makes a successful project plan and takes you step-by-step through the process of registering your project on the eTwinning portal. You’ll also get tips on how you can get a recognised mark of success for your project with an eTwinning Quality Label.

Step three: Using your Twinspace

The Twinspace is the heart of your eTwinning project. It is a safe and secure online space where you and your partners work together. This session shows you how to use your Twinspace to communicate and share your work with your partners. You’ll also find out how the Twinspace can help you share your project with the wider community.

eTwinning for Comenius projects

Find out how the eTwinning platform can be used to support your Comenius project. Led by an experienced eTwinning teacher, this session is designed for teachers in Comenius partnerships and will demonstrate how you can manage your Comenius project online.
