My school is currently twinning with two schools in France; one in Nice and one in Le Val St Pere. The first is a project called fairy tales and legends in Europe, which we hoping to make a Comenius project, and the other is called sharing Europe. We are also currently aiming to twin with a school in Egypt too.

The projects are all multi-media and the children are all extremely excited about making contact with other children around the world and practising their IT and language skills in real situations. What could be greater than that?

Lisa Taner
Lisa Taner From an early eTwinning workshop began my own journey towards the long-standing International links that Bowes now has, including Comenius and a funded DFID Global School Partnerships with Ghana.
I have set up and run several eTwinning projects including Send My Friend to School- a project that involved children learning about the Global Campaign for Education. Schools across Europe participated along with our partner schools in Uganda and Ghana. This was the second of 2 UK eTwinning award winners.
I am particularly interested in helping teachers get a Global Dimension in their eTwinning projects.

Richard Knights
Richard knight We made contact with a school in Holland through E Twinning. It is a really fast and reliable service. When you receive an e-mail you get an alert on your normal everyday e-mail service.
The Bonn Conference was absolutely fantastic and it was a real eye opener as to how E Twinning has involved so many countries and schools. Through Global Gateway we also have a partner school in South Africa. Last year our school won the Full International School Award.

Ruth Royce
Ruth Royce I am currently teaching in a small-ish primary school just outside York where our two eTwinning projects are well under way! As MFL coordinator for our cluster of schools, I have promoted eTwinning as a way for children to learn new languages and all about new cultures (as well as learning new things about their own!).
As of April 2008, I will be taking on a new role as Primary Consultant in English for North Yorkshire LA. In this role, I hope to encourage schools to use eTwinning as a way to make learning real and fun and as a tool for developing children's communication skills through the variety of methods technology affords us. eTwinning is an excellent way to show children how language and literature grow out of the cultures we live in - if anyone needs a hand with setting up projects, etc, then let me know!

Sharon Tonner
Sharon Tonner I have extensive experience of working collaboratively with partners in Europe and globally to connect our children through meaningful projects.  I also have vast experience of delivering seminars and workshops related to using technologies to connect with others.  My current role as Lecturer in Primary Education (ICT) provides me with the latest methods of using ICT that is manageable with children and is embedded in other areas of the curriculum.

Susie Arnott
Susie Arnott I am a Primary school teacher working as an Advisory Teacher for ICT in North Tyneside. I have supported schools using ICT across the curriculum for many years. I'm finding etwinning gives schools a fantastic, real-life reason for using all those exciting multimedia tools that used to seem so daunting! Video, animations, sound recordings, simple emails...they all come to life as part of an etwinning project, where children and teachers have a genuine audience, and get responses and feedback too.

I’m a member of the eTwinning Teacher Team developing project kits to help schools with ideas.

Working in the City Learning Centre, where I support the pedagogical use of ICT in the curriculum, I can work across schools here and internationally.

I have run several online projects involving Maths, Science, Music and MFL which will be extended into eTwinning, the first of which is a pilot project linking schools to join an international challenge of virtual online grand prix racing using maths.
