Roger Burridge is the director of the UK Centre for Legal Education. He is also a barrister and reader at the University of Warwick with extensive experience of clinical programmes and consultancy, including the Philippines, India, Ethiopia, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda, Poland and Montenegro. He has also worked as a tutor at the Inns of Court School of Law. Roger also leads the Legal Proceedings Training Unit at Warwick, which delivers investigation, case preparation and advocacy training for regulatory agencies. He previously practised as a barrister in the Newham Rights Centre in East London, and is a founder member of the Free Representation Unit. He has written widely on legal education issues and is joint editor of and contributor to Effective Leaning and Teaching in Law, published in 2002 by Kogan Page as part of a series developed by the Institute of Learning and Teaching. |
