UKIERI Study India Programme
What is it about?
Are you studying in higher or further education and interested in spending up to three weeks in India this August? The UKIERI (UK-India Education and Research Initiative) Study India Programme aims to provide students from the UK with an eye-opening experience in India.
Over the three week programme successful applicants get to see Indian culture from lots of different perspectives, do workshops with their Indian counterparts and even do a week's work experience.
This programme is being managed by IndoGenius and will run this summer in two groups from 17 August to 8 September 2013 and 25 August to 14 September 2013.
Where can I go?
The project is held in Mumbai and Delhi.
What does it cost?
UKIERI covers your accommodation costs for the duration of your trip.
Students must pay for their visa, insurance, flights and related living costs (that are much cheaper than the UK!).
Am I eligible?
As long as you are studying in the UK in full-time higher or further education you are eligible.
What is the availability?
There are roughly 200 places per year.
What is the application deadline?
