Architecture project: Old Doha Prize
What is it about?
Are you an architect with two or more years experience and looking to add an international dimension to your work? The Old Doha Prize brings together architects based in Qatar and Britain for a one-week design charette in mid November.
Five teams will research and explore approaches to heritage-led regeneration and its potential for the ongoing and future development of Qatar. At the end of the design charette a winning team will be awarded £15,000 for the further development of the project.

What does it cost?
As a successful applicant you will be entitled to return flights to Qatar, accommodation and daily meal expenses for the duration of your visit.
This is available for one architect per participating practice. Practices are permitted to support an additional member of staff if they are able to contribute the remainder of the funding.
Design materials will also be provided.
Am I eligible?
Applicants must be UK or Qatari based architects. Independent architects as well as those within a practice are allowed to apply however only one person-per-practice are entitled to the travel and accommodation grants.
