Erasmus Staff Mobility
What is it about?
Did you know that the EU’s Erasmus programme offers higher education academic and administrative staff the chance to gain professional development through teaching or training elsewhere in Europe?
Get to know first-hand the workings of another European educational system, learn new ideas and discover best practices to bring back to the UK.
Where can I go?
Teaching staff can go to a partner institution in any of the 32 participating countries, as long as both institutions hold an Erasmus University Charter (EUC).
Administrative staff can go to another higher education institution which holds an EUC or go to an enterprise.
What does it cost?
Funding is available for travel and subsistence to support staff for their trip. This covers trips that last between five days and six weeks.
Am I eligible?
As long as you currently work at a higher education institution that holds an Erasmus University Charter, you are eligible.
What is the availability?
This is subject to the institution you apply to.
What is the application deadline?
Please talk to your institution’s Erasmus Office.
