What is it about?
The Creative Entrepreneur programme celebrates, supports and connects innovative and entrepreneurial leaders in the creative and cultural industries around the world.
We've teamed up with The Hospital Club to invite new UK-based creative entrepreneurs to apply for the Creative Entrepreneur category in the h Club 100.
The focus on entrepreneurship and innovation is a unique part of the award. We look for the people shaping our creative future - testing new models and ideas and having a positive economic and social impact in their local and global communities.
Where can I go?
Three applicants will be invited to one of the following countries - Russia, Brazil, Vietnam, Nigeria or South Africa – to meet industry peers and to develop deeper understanding of exciting new trends.
What does it cost?
The British Council will develop the programme and cover the costs of travel, accommodation and subsistence costs while on the foreign trip.
Am I eligible?
We’re looking for creative people who have been in business for less than 10 years but who already have a track record of testing new business models, reaching new audiences, using new technologies and driving forward the development of their creative sector.
What is the availability?
The Creative Entrepreneur category will recognise the work of 10 people whose businesses are making the UK creative economy exciting in 2013.
