This is a collection of ideas for simple exchange projects. These projects are mainly intended for teachers in Australia whose students want to produce something for their partner school that will give a clearer idea about their lives and interests. These projects can be adapted to suit the particular needs of the class and completed by the home school without too much involvement from the partner school. Children in the partner school act as an audience for the work produced.
Music Send a tape with some of your favourite (Australian) songs on it. You can send copies of the lyrics and try and get your partner school to interpret them.
T-shirt design Send an original T-shirt design to your partner school. Once your partner school receives the designs, they make the t-shirts and send them back to you.
Greeting cards Send greeting cards to your partner school at different times of the year. You can send electronic greeting cards Look at this list of different holidays and celebrations around the world.
Comic book stories Students create 'manga' or comic book stories in this collaborative art and English project. Subjects of the Manga relay can range from students' original stories to pieces about the environment or road safety.
