What is Montage Australia?

Montage Australia is a global web-based programme of curriculum projects, which encourages international communication and collaboration between young people in Australia and other countries. Made by teachers for teachers, it uses the latest information communication technology (ICT) to encourage global communication. and create virtual communities.  It provides practical educational activities which develop research, problem solving and communication skills.

Montage Australia projects are specially developed for local students. But of course you can take part in any of the projects in Montage World.

Montage Australia includes:

• A database of global internet based curriculum projects
• Access to a school linking database with over 4,500 schools
• Help with finding a suitable partner for your school
• Support for creating and using internet projects

The Projects

• The projects are aimed at primary and secondary levels
• They cover a wide range of subjects, from the Environment to Mathematics, and are often cross-curricular
• They are designed by teachers and other educational experts
