Over the past five years, Artur has worked at the Media Diversity Institute (MDI) in Armenia. Following the Living Together workshop in Haifa, Israel, he has gone on to run digital storytelling workshops for young people from migrant and minority communities in Armenia.

Konul was born in Talish. According to her religion, girls should follow the tradition and are not allowed to go abroad or to be independent. After applying for a programme she went to study in America and she considers that traditions can be modernised.

During his childhood, Butunay was surrounded by artists and soon afterwards he decided to become an artist himself. For him art is not about money or profit but things that peaople would like to look at. |

Born in Uganda, Alex not only has a great passion for learning foreign languages but is also a member of several wildlife and environmental organisations. As he states, "there's always a fire burning in every young person to do something, they see the world with eyes of change".

Maria is Cypriot and she is a Junior Professional Officer in OSCE's Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She strongly believes that "more than anything we are the ones that have the ability and vision to become agents for peace".

Talha is only 19 years old and a former member of the UK Youth Parliament. He is currently a Youth Participation Officer for the National Youth Agency and among other interests is the National League Basketball. |

Martina is 17 years old and a volunteer at DZMP Krško. After joining a videoclub she started enjoying working with a camera and so far she shot several movies, some of them about her experience as a Rom and the Romani life. |

Gianna was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in 1989. In 1991 her parents decided to migrate to Greece. For the last 17 years she lives in Argos Orestiko, a small town in Kastoria province. Gianna is currently a student at the School of Journalism and Mass Communications of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She speaks Greek, English and Russian. |

Christos is 19 years old. He attended the Imagine your Future Digital Storytelling workshop in Thessaloniki in July 2008. He came to Greece at a very young age and is currently studying to become a plumber. |

He first attempted to come to Greece at a very young age, but he was caught by the police and was deported back to Albania. Since then, he made several attempts to re-ender Greece, but has been deported each time. On his last attempt he was caught by the police as an illegal migrant. Vini is married and he has a little daughter. |

Faila is taking part in lots of projects which promote tolerance, love, interculturality and diversity, sending strong and clear messages. She was given many awards including "The Best Volunteer of the Year 2006".

Riad was born in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, a country later on divided by ethnical and religious conflicts. She and her partner founded the National Institute of Art Production - Kitch - and they address stereotypes and prejudice in an original way.

Edina comes from Bosnia. She finished the Islam Pedagogic Faculty and has been working in a primary school for two years. |

Regina is from Iraq. She attended in the IYF workshop in Istanbul Bilgi University in September 08. With the help of facilitators, she developed her story. She really enjoyed the process of creating the digital films and she wants to continue this in the future. |
