Working in Arts

We are using our arts programme to portray the issues facing diverse societies across Europe in unique and innovative ways.

Living Together exhibition

A curated lens-based exhibition from eight of the region's emerging artists which explores issues of migration, displacement and social exclusion. The exhibition was previewed at the International Summit in London in March 2008, officially launched in Belfast in May 2008 and is now touring the South East Europe region. For more information about the exhibition tour, please contact our Art Curator, Harjeet Kaur.

Photography competition

This online photography competition is open to anyone from the countries taking part in Living Together. The competition is now open and winners will be announced in March 2009. Like the exhibition, the work will convey the Living Together themes. For more information about the competition, please contact Emily Wilcox

Activities

We are running a series of activities to bring together teachers, students and artists from local communities. These include photography treasure hunts, workshops for artists and teachers, and school tours..
