In this issue we look at how schools are taking their international work beyond the school gates to involve local communities. With the new responsibility, schools in England have to promote community cohesion, and are finding that international work is a great way to do this. Whether it’s comparing local history with an international partner or cooking traditional dishes, schools are using international projects to learn about and engage their communities.
