INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR UK TRAINING PROVIDERS AND CONSORTIUMS
Institutional Partnerships

BRITISH COUNCIL REGIONAL PROJECTS

As part of its Skills for Employability programme, the British Council regularly announces opportunities for UK training providers and consortiums that would like to form collaborative partnerships with vocational training institutions in the Near East and North Africa (NENA), the Middle East (ME) Central and Southern Asia (CSA) and South East Europe (SEE) (where the programme is currently known as Skills@Work).

Skills for Employability aims to encourage skills development in these regions by supporting national reforms in technical and vocational education and training, and encouraging closer links between education and industry. Through partnership with the UK colleges and consortiums, the projects will establish and support industry-driven curriculum models in key sectors of the economy that equip young people with the technical and generic skills that employers require.

The countries where funded institutional partnerships have been awarded:

Central and Southern Asia: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Pakistan
South East Europe Skills@work: Albania, Armenia, Macedonia, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Serbia, Croatia, Azerbaijan, Israel, Kosovo
