India

In India we have established productive networks with several state governments. For example, a new competency-based qualifications system is in the process of being set up in the state of Gujerat.

Recent visits to the UK
A successful British Council India/ TPUK funded Edulinks mission included leaders of eleven private Indian education institutions who toured the UK and held a seminar in London. The British Council in India receives regular requests from both Indian and UK institutions to facilitate partnerships.

Edulinksuk
A new initiative in India which addresses the need for initiating a dialogue using the database as a platform to bring together institutions keen to establish partnerships leading to the provision of UK qualifications in India.
