What are INSPIRE Policy Dialogues?

INSPIRE Policy Dialogues provide opportunities for policy makers and practitioners to come together and collaborate on Higher Education issues. Policy Dialogues will focus on a specific policy area, exploring the issues, highlight problem areas and devising recommendations for a way forward

Policy Dialogues aim to:

bring together a unique mix of policy makers and practitioners to contribute to the development of HE policies of national and international relevance
strengthen partnership and collaboration between the UK and countries in Central & South Asia including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

Going Global 2011 - World education: the new powerhouse?

Going Global 2011 took place at the HKCEC, Hong Kong, from the 10- 12 March 2011. Going Global 2011 was the first Going Global conference to take place overseas and attracted around 1000 delegates from over 70 countries.

Knowledge Transfer Policy Dialogue: Enabling a culture of innovation and outreach

British Council INSPIRE, in partnership with the Pakistan Higher Education Commission, hosted a policy dialogue for policy makers and practitioners in the field of knowledge transfer. The event washeld in Islamabad, Pakistan, on 23 and 24 November 2010.

Going Global 4

The International Conference took place at London on 24-26 March 2010. The conferences theme was WORLD POTENTIAL: Making Education Meet The Challenge. The conference provided an excellent opportunity to over 1200 delegates from across the world to explore strategic developments and issues in Higher Education. The high level delegates from Higher Education Institutes in central and South Asia attended the conference both as participants as well as speakers for some sessions.
