Partnership Calls

"International skills partnerships are the most effective kind of staff development in the world."
Joanne Wallace, Head of International Collaboration and Partnerships, Bradford College, UK

British Council periodically announces new foundation partnership opportunities available with specific organisations in specific countries. Typically UK organisations are invited to apply for a travel grant to visit the partner country, meet the candidate organisations for partnership in-country, and develop with one or more of these organisations one or more foundation project proposals.

Please note that this is a competitive process: travel grant applications and foundation partnership project proposals are assessed by an expert panel which includes British Council skills experts, sector representatives and representatives from the relevant countries.

For more information about partnerships please see our General Guidelines to International Skills Partnerships.
