British Council international skills partnerships utilise a number of guidelines, forms and assessment grids to support all stages of the partnership process.
There are three types of international skills partnership project: Foundation, Start-up and Advanced.
These are partnership projects with pre-identified organisations in a partner county, focusing on pre-identified sectors and themes, and sometimes pre-identified deliverables. Such partnership project opportunities are announced in the Partnerships Call section and through our skills e-newsletter, which you can sign up for here. You can find an at-a-glance overview of the foundation partnership process here.
These are partnership projects based on opportunities identified by organisations themselves in eligible countries. More information about these projects is available in our Partnership Start-up Scheme section. You can find an at-a-glance overview of the start-up partnership process here.
These are partnership projects delivered by a consortium of organisations that have successfully completed foundation and/or start-up projects. These projects build directly on the work of the preceding foundation and/or start-up projects. You can find an at-a-glance overview of the advanced partnership process here.
