Employer engagement

Thanks to support from the government and other organisations, the vocational education training sector is now growing and expanding. The government of Yemen is making considerable efforts to develop the vocational education training sector, and the ministry is now taking steps to involve the private sector.

New  Vocational and Technical Training and Development of Skills Fund  (VTTDSF)

In 2004, the government set up the Vocational and Technical Training and Development of Skills Fund to help enhance the skills of public and private sector workers. This is one of the ways in which the Ministry is working to ensure partnership with labour market institutions.
