Financing continuing training

The services of the National Centre of Continuing Training and Professional Promotion are financed in the following ways:

A discount on the Tax of Professional Training (TFP):
The discount is a partial or total deduction of the amount of the TFP paid by the company. The deductions are made according to a scale allowing the company to cover at most the expenses of training.
The National Programme of Continuing Training (PRONAFOC): decree N°1993 of August 27th, 2001:
By means of this programme, the state covers the expenses of training, to support companies in developing the skills of their staff and controlling the modern technologies of production, management and organisation. This instrument is used as an addition to the discount on TFP.
The financing of training connected to technological investments (article 39 of the Code of Incentive to Investments):
The state contributes to the financing of training programmes related to technological investments. The CNFCPP also allows employees to acquire additional knowledge and qualifications, to obtain diplomas or to enrich their professional experience by means of training courses within the institutes of superior promotion of work (IPST) through evening classes and distance training.
