Careers guidance is the responsibility of ANETI, the Agency for Employment and Independent Work, which provides advice and guidance to young unemployed graduates, or those who are employed but wish to change their career direction. It also works with universities on careers advice.
ANETI helps with CV writing and offers a job matching service. Its clients are both job seekers and employers. It works with countries which have asked for workers in certain sectors to relocate from Tunisia, and provides selection, training and preparation for work overseas.
ANETI has 88 job centres around the country, and is responsible for:

Looking at its responsibilities in more detail, ANETI is charged with:

Providing careers advice (on a sectoral basis) and job seeking skills to young people, and those that want to change their career (all programmes are about action and activity – ANETI does not work with inactive unemployed people). This may include directing them towards longer VET courses. |

Matching people with jobs via a sophisticated website which stores data about people and jobs (and tracks the centres’ progress against objectives). |

Working with businesses and training providers to set up short training courses (l’adaption) to develop new skills for jobs not aligned with their degree programme, or offering people who have graduated from HE with no work experience placements with enterprises. |

Encouraging people to set up their own business through programmes like CREE and CEFE - enterprise education that offers 11 training days and a grant or 14-20 training days and a grant respectively. |
Priority sectors currently include textiles, tourism and agriculture.
