Skills around the World: Syria

Syria is one of the Mediterranean countries taking part in the Euro-Mediterranean Charter for Enterprise, where the focus on entrepreneurship support and enterprise promotion is highlighted as a governmental priority. In the light of this, the Syrian government is undertaking steps to comply with the charter’s principles and requirements for economic reform.

It is drafting a strategy for Small and Medium-sized Enterprise’s (SMEs) which contains guidance and recommended steps to support entrepreneurship in education.
