Technilogical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) realises the importance of engaging employers with vocational training. Close co-operation with several organisations and establishments is taking place, and the Corporation is making strategic plans to enhance co-operation with national employers. Engagement of employers in education involves training, developing courses and work placements.
Various regional and international organisations are involved in vocational training plans. They include major corporations such as Saudi Aramco and Saudi Basic Industries Company. Cisco has also established extensive vocational education and training links with Saudi Arabia, through its Cisco Networking Academy. By June 2008, it had trained over 6,500 students through its links with TVTC.

TVTC pays great attention to developing its occupational standards to meet the requirements of the labour market. It has arranged technical co-operation agreements with a number of advanced countries and has consulted people within the private sector to determine the required skills and specialities. Recently, TVTC has worked with BAE Systems to set 270 vocational standards.
