WorldSkills seminar addresses key skills issues in Arabic world

As well as hosting the world’s largest skills competition, WorldSkills London 2011 Global Marketplace provided a forum for three days of high profile debate.  One of the highlights was an interactive session on the theme of 'Meeting the Skills Challenge in the Arabic World'.

The importance of skills development to the future stability and prosperity of the Arabic world has been dramatically emphasised by recent political revolutions and this session explored key issues, showcased how British Council is helping to address these issues, and assessed possibilities for future international collaboration.
