GLOBAL VIRTUAL ENTERPRISE CHALLENGE 2012

Pride of Africa, South Africa has beaten seven other national enterprise challenge winning teams to become winner of the British Council Global Virtual Enterprise Challenge 2012.  The teams were asked to prepare a video in response to the following challenge: ‘If Olympic/Paralympic Games were to take place in your country, what business would you develop?’

The entries were judged on the quality of the video as well as the employability and enterprise skills they demonstrated in responding to the theme. Members of the public could also vote online for their favourite video, and the chance to win an i-pod.

After counting the on-line voting and the results from the panel, we are pleased to award first prize to the South African team, which developed a bead making enterprise.  You can see their winning video along with those of the other finalists representing Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Pakistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan below.

Congratulations to the all participating teams and to everyone who took part in the competitions this year.
