Pakistan

The number of vocational and technical education institutions in Pakistan has significantly increased over the years.

However, further work is required to ensure that the VET system is aligned with the needs of the job market.

The National Vocational and Technical Education Commission (NAVTEC) has developed a National Skills Strategy that aims to:

Create more flexible, competency-based training
Promote the role of industry in designing and delivering VET education.
