Nepal

Social, economic and political changes in Nepal have raised people’s aspirations for a better standard of education. Global trends in business and education have also had an impact.

As a result, Nepal has developed an education reform programme that responds to these changing circumstances, underpinning the agenda for both immediate and long-term development and transformation.

The Ministry of Education is implementing a variety of Vocational Education and Training programmes through the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) to fulfil the country’s needs for technical skills.
